From his beginnings within the Michigan Avenue ad agencies of Chicago, Mike ultimately took his career and philanthropic drive to the West Coast. Merging message and
purpose, he spent nearly a decade at The California Endowment.

Mike then developed Fox Studios philanthropic notion "FoxGives", into a local, national and, ultimately, international corporate social responsibility platform. Motivating staff, uniting aligned corporate partners, teaming with foundations as well as supporting and forwarding nonprofits locally and around the globe.

Small Acts for Good represents the culmination of all these efforts. The vision of three business professionals - to set about the business of helping to make all communities better places to live and work.

June Nishimura

Chief Magician

June Nishimura is a creative force.

 June’s vision of combining private sector and foundation resources - with the community reach and access found within the nonprofit world - initially led her from real estate to The California Endowment. There, she helped guide strategy and communications to benefit large portions of California’s at-risk communities.

Next, as Senior Manager of Corporate & Community Engagement – FoxGives, June went on to shape marketing communications, graphic design, branding and social media for Fox’s new philanthropic effort, FoxGives. There, she also worked extensively within the nonprofit sector, corporate and volunteer engagement and the corporate Matching Gift Program.

 June is a gifted designer, planner and finance resource. She has dedicated her career to utilizing her talents to the benefit of populations in need. 

Wil Guido

Chief of Happiness

Wil Guido has a long history of both professional and personal philanthropy.

The majority of Wil’s career centers itself in the entertainment/media industry. He is a thirty-plus years veteran of Fox Studios. Wil helped form the genesis of the studio’s philanthropic initiative, FoxGives. However, Wil’s personal philanthropic volunteering and giving go back even farther.

As Executive Director of Special Projects – FoxGives, Wil utilized his passion for giving back as a true motivator and crowd organizer. Wil knows how to secure resources of all kinds as well as bring out the volunteers!

Similarly, weekends and personal time will often find Wil distributing food, children’s books or other life necessities at strategic locations throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
