You will help assemble food packages that are distributed to over 27,000 low income seniors in Los Angeles County. The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) program which serves seniors 60 years and older who meet income eligibility requirements. The packages consist of food items like canned fruit, canned vegetables, rice, cereal, and other non-perishable food items.

UpWorks for Good will follow guidelines set by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. MINIMUM AGE IS 18. No exceptions. No walk-ins are allowed and all volunteers must be preregistered. All volunteers must wear closed-toe/closed heel shoes. Comfortable attire recommended. No shorts or tank tops. This is an indoor event.
