You will help assemble packs filled with much needed items, write notes of kindness and assist with clean up. Your carefully packed kits will support My Friend’s Place.

My Friend's Place mission is to assist and inspire homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives. They serve 100-150 homeless youth a day. The Safe Haven Program provides daytime shelter and drop-in services offering food, clothing, showers and computer stations. Intake & Crisis Care, a Transformative Education Program and Health & Well-Being Programs are also offered. Programs are designed to help these youth move toward wellness, stability and self-sufficiency.

UpWorks for Good understands that these kits are not a permanent solution, but it will help get a struggling person through to tomorrow.
