Volunteer with UpWorks for Good and help support Access Books. You'll help create a library for the deserving students at Carver Elementary School in Compton, CA.

Since 1999, Access Books, a local nonprofit, has been providing quality books to public school and community libraries where the majority of students live at or below the poverty line. For children living in poverty, the best predictor of reading achievement is the quality of their school library. No matter where they live, all children deserve access to stories that will inspire and help them excel in the classroom.

How can you help? We need a few volunteers to assist with processing/cataloging hundreds of books and painting murals.
